The search for an investor for Ziegler involved a structured and intensive process. The sale attracted investors from all over the world. Talks were held with some 150 interested buyers. In the end, the contract was awarded to CIMC as it offered the most convincing solution and the best price. The sale process was accompanied by the Swiss M&A consulting firm Rasenberger Toschek AG with global operations.”
